Low-Moderate Income Housing Units: 69Completed in 1924, the Paddock Hotel was designed by Thomas Kimball, one of Nebraska's leading architects, in the Renaissance Revival style. It was also important to the commerce of Beatrice as a modern facility where salespeople could stay and display their goods. Following the rehabilitation, completed in 1991, the former hotel was converted to rental residential space.
The Adams State Bank, located in Adams, is a one-story brick building. Constructed in 1908, the property is significant as a good example of a small town bank building. The 1992 rehabilitation converted the former bank to office space.
