The Library/Archives uses volunteers in a number of ways: data entry, photograph identification and research, organization and description of collections, reference room work (including genealogy research), writing of biographical sketches or organizational histories, transferring motion picture film to videotape, and many other tasks. We try to match projects to the interest of each volunteer. Because we are open six days a week and because some projects, such as indexing from microfilm, can be done at a volunteer's home, hours are flexible. Contact Deb McWilliams, the volunteer coordinator, at 402-471-4955 to discuss these and other possibilities.
