The charter presentation of the Serra Club of Lincoln, Nebraska took place on September 11, 1955. The organization's mission is, "To foster and promote vocations to the priesthood and religious life and to further Catholicism by encouraging its members, in fellowship, through education, to fulfill their vocations to service."


This collection consists of manuscript material arranged in four series: 1) Newsletters, 1956-1961, n.d.; 2) Correspondence, 1955-1960, n.d.; 3) Rosters and Committee Lists, 1956-1961; and 4) Miscellany. This material relates to the early activities of the Serra Club of Lincoln, Nebraska in its efforts to promote Catholicism and the religious life.
