SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The collection contains various papers of Enos Lowe, including a quit claim deed from 1855 for land that became the city of Omaha; a letter dated January 11, 1854, from Enos Lowe to U.S. Senator G.W. Jones, in which Lowe introduces J. Sterling Morton; and a paper with information about the Lowe family, including Enos Lowe and Jesse Lowe and their connection to the establishment of Omaha, Nebraska.
