BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Frank J. Rosenberg was born in Columbiana, Ohio, on August 16, 1850. He graduated from Upper Sandusky High School and then studied at the Northwestern Normal at Adrian, Ohio. He taught school for two years and then entered the Eclectic Medical Institute at Cincinnati, graduating in 1873. That same year, Rosenberg was married to Anna M. Case of Wyandott County, Ohio. After graduation from medical school, Rosenberg and his wife moved to Roanoke, Woodford County, Illinois, where he practiced medicine for several years. A year later Rosenberg and his family settled in Plum Creek, remaining a resident of Lexington and Plum Creek for sixty-two years. He continued his medical practice in Nebraska, and also helped in promoting irrigation and farming in the area. He died in 1946 at the age of ninety-five.
