SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of the memoirs of Arley L. Goodenkauf describing his experiences serving with the 377th Parachute Field Artillery, 101st Airborne Division during World War II. The memoirs also describe Goodenkauf's musical career playing trumpet for various orchestras throughout Nebraska and the Midwest. Also included is a publication by the Table Rock Historical Society giving biographical information about all the WWII veterans from Table Rock, Nebraska.
