SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The collection contains primarily letters (1901-1904) to H.M. Luce concerning his financial support of Bennie Ding, a college student in Foochow, China. The letters are from Bennie Ding, Bessie Ding (Bennie's sister) from Indianola, Iowa, and J.H. Worley and Lydia A. Wilkinson (Methodist Episcopal Church missionaries). Also included are two unidentified photos and a Bulletin of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Fuhkien, China, no. 32, 1903.
