SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of two manuscripts by Ira Bare entitled, "Live Stock Industry" and "Educational Development of Lincoln County" written for J. Sterling Morton's History of Nebraska. A third essay, "Irrigation in Lincoln County," by E.F. Seeberger and Bare's cover letter to Morton are included.
