SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of one item, a financial ledger of John and Ruth Keepers, dating from 1912-1931. A note on the front cover states, "Records of John & Ruth Keepers - Beginning in Michigan - to South Dakota - to Washington." It is unclear if the Keepers ever actually lived in Nebraska, but the ledger includes various diary entries for a trip from Niobrara, Nebraska to California in the winter/spring of 1924. The Keepers apparently traveled on the Meridian Highway.
