SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of one reel of microfilm containing a 64 page typewritten copy of "Randall Fuller's Book" with a preface by Charles W. Martin and the 118 page original journal. Randall Fuller journeyed overland to California in 1849, 1851, 1852, and 1854. His journal contains accounts of these four trips.

Note:  A published version of Fuller's journal appears in Overland Journal (Vol. 6, #4), 1988. This is available in the NSHS Library [978 Or3o].
