DESCRIPTION

This collection contains one stock certificate and two letters relating to payment of an assessment on stock in the National Corn Exposition held in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1908. The letter of October 1, 1908 is typed on stationary with a half page print of the "Corn Show Mermaid" under which is the slogan "Prosperity Moves on Crutches When Crops Go Wrong."
