DESCRIPTION

This collection consists of position statements, letters, and publicity material produced by the Nebraska Prosperity League in order to oppose prohibition. This material was produced for the November 1916 election in which voters were asked to decide whether the Slocumb License Local Option Law should be abolished in favor of prohibition. The Nebraska Prosperity League favored "local option, high license," and therefore, worked for the continuation of the Slocumb Law.
