SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection contains papers relating to the discovery and naming of the asteroid, Nebraska, between 1996-1999 by Robert Linderholm of the Lime Creek Observatory 721 in Cambridge, Nebraska. Includes correspondence with the Minor Planet Center at the Smithsonian Institution and a description of the process used to locate the asteroid. Also includes a letter of congratulations from Governor Mike Johanns and a newspaper clipping from the Lincoln Journal Star, dated May 15, 1999.
