SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of the papers of Mrs. Guy Cole, Chairman of the Women's Activities State Salvage Committee during World War II. These papers include correspondence with various county salvage committee chairmen, a list of county chairmen by county, War Production Board bulletins to the County Chairwomen, two certificates (photocopies only) for outstanding service from the U. S. War Production Board and the Nebraska State Salvage Committee, membership lists, and a photocopy of a photograph taken at a banquet in Mrs. Cole's honor at the Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln.
