There are several ways to access the photograph holdings. Many photo collections are available on indexed microfiche, which can be used in-house or borrowed. A fairly comprehesive list of the photograph collections will give you the proper collection numbers and indicate those available on microfiche. Some are also on videotape and CR-ROM, and these can also be viewed in-house or borrowed. In addition, many photo collections are indexed in our on-line Archival Collection Database. Finally, at your request staff can search a database that indexes thousands of individual images. In-depth photo research (pdf) by staff can also be performed as needed.
