Tours of the Library/Archives reference room are available during the week by prior arrangement. Two weeks advance notice is required for a guided tour. Tour group size is generally limited to twenty people and we require one teacher or sponsor for every fifteen students of high school age or younger. Because there are usually other researchers using the reference room during tours, tour groups must be well-behaved.

We encourage groups to schedule their tours between the hours of 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. when we are not open to the public. Tours are not offered after 4:00 p.m. or on weekends except under special circumstances.

We have limited staffing and research space, therefore, groups of ten or more are discouraged from planning to do individual research immediately following the tour. Individuals or small groups may return at another time to pursue their research topics.
