Wilfredo Castro


Wilfredo Castro

Born in Las Palmas, Mexico, in 1943, Wilfredo Castro came to Nebraska with his family in 1949. Along with his interests in horticulture, Mr. Castro does painting, drawing, and woodcarving. He is responsible for the cactus garden in front of the Lincoln Hispanic Center, which celebrates Hispanic culture.

Nacido en Las Palmas, México, en 1943, Wilfredo Castro vino a Nebraska con su familia en 1949. Además de su interés en la horticultura, el señor Castro pinta, dibuja y graba en madera. Él es el responsable del jardín de cactus frente al Centro Hispano, el cual celebra la cultura hispana.
