Nebraska State Historical Societys Museum of Nebraska History announces Memorial Day weekend hours

If your outdoor plans get rained out this Memorial Day weekend, take a trip to the past with a visit to the Nebraska State Historical Societys Museum of Nebraska History at 15th & P Streets in Lincoln. While the kids enjoy hands-on learning in the History Adventure Center, other visitors can see the variety of successful and strange items Made in Nebraska, a temporary exhibit highlighting Nebraskans ingenuity over the last century. The substantial view camera that photographer John Anderson used to record the changes in American Indian life in the early 1900s is among the latest artifacts displayed as part of a year-long changing exhibit of Nebraska Treasures, highlighting the 125 year collecting history of the Nebraska State Historical Society.

Museum hours are 9 - 4:30, Monday-Friday, including Memorial Day and 1 - 4:30 Saturday and Sunday.
