SUBJECT: The Nebraska State Historical Society's State Historic Preservation Office announces the completion of the Nebraska Historic Buildings Survey of Custer County.
The survey was conducted to identify historic structures in each town and rural area of the County. The survey will give public policy makers and citizens a tool to promote historic preservation, economic and community development and tourism.
A public meeting intended to discuss the findings of the historic buildings survey will be held

7:30pmThe public meeting will be an opportunity for the citizens of Custer County to discuss the findings, purpose, and uses of the historic buildings survey. The meeting will consist of a thirty to forty-five minute presentation, to be followed by a question and answer session.
The State Historic Preservation Office urges everyone interested in historic preservation, the history of Custer county, and community and economic development opportunities in the county to attend the meeting.
