The first Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H
Club Fat Stock Show was held in 1927. It continues today as the
Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Youth Livestock Exposition, and 4-H'ers from eight
states, including Nebraska, participate. Ak-Sar-Ben has also
supported 4-H through the years by offering premiums and special
awards to county and state fair winners.
