Clark Terry played trumpet and fluegelhorn, and performed vocals. Terry played with Lionel Hampton, Charlie Barnet, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Quincy Jones, and Doc Severinsen.
Zoot Simms (John Haley) had an extensive solo career on tenor and soprano saxophone. Simms also worked with Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, and Gerry Mulligan.
