Nebraska maps are available in the library from preterritorial days to the present. An online database of the holdings is not available. Staff and patrons use the manual library card catalog, online catalog, the map shelf list, and location registers to locate specific requests. The library also collects other Nebraska maps in the form of published county atlases (plat books) farm directories, etc. Eight maps from our library collection have been scanned as part of the Early Maps of Hall County, Nebraska [1857 - 1901] hosted by the Hall County Government (Nebraska). For details on how to request information from or receive copies of these maps contact the reference room at 402-471-4751.
