This collection contains copies of sheet music for two songs, "The Christmas Spirit Living" and "The Flag Song of Nebraska," with words by Florence Hazen Miller (Mrs. B.G. Miller). Also includes miscellaneous items relating to Mrs. Miller, who designed the Nebraska State Flag and originated the idea of the "Living Christmas Tree."

A microfilm copy of a scrapbook relating to the adoption of the resolution to create a state flag, compiled by Mrs. Miller, is available in the records of the Secretary of State, RG0002.

The original version of the State Flag sewn by Mrs. Miller may be viewed in the offices of the Nebraska Secretary of State.
