The couple had seven children. Frisby Rasp lived all his life near Gresham, Nebraska. He died on March 18, 1948.

This collection consists of two folders of correspondence to and from Frisby Rasp dating from 1888. The letters which form the bulk of this collection were exchanged by Frisby Rasp and his parents while Rasp was a student at the Omaha Business College in 1888. They relate to his impressions of life in Omaha as seen by a rural youth who was visiting the city for the first time. Interesting descriptions of people, business and manufacturing activities, and celebrations are found throughout the letters. The letters Frisby Rasp received from his family report activities on the farm and social life in the Gresham, Nebraska, area.
