Nebraska Time Travelers
Question and activity cards send students on a mission to see and think about authentic objects from Nebraska's past, and relate to the experiences of the people who used them. Allow 30 minutes or longer for each exhibit you plan to Time Travel.
Before your visit:
Teachers receive one set of Time Traveler cards and answer sheets for the level(s) and exhibit(s) you request in their confirmation letter and make copies for their museum visit.
Remind students in 3rd-12th grades to bring a pencil. The museum does not allow pens in the exhibits because they can permanently damage objects.
Find reliable adults to act as chaperons. We recommend one adult for every ten students, 5-12th grade, and one adult for every five students, K-4th.
When you arrive at the museum, writing boards will be available for students to use. We ask that students not use the exhibit cases as writing boards, please.
